Art was part of Anastassia’s life since her childhood.
Her favorite media was graphite. Being excellent at drawing, her parents put her into art classes.
Through her school years she won various art awards. Years later Anastassia continued studying art taking one year open academy classes in different media at Estonian Academy of Arts.
Her art career began with her love and passion for nature, painting animal and pet portraits with watercolors and inks.
As a kid Anastassia’s dream job was at Greenpeace to help animals. She has always felt a deep connection to animal world.
She believes that the beauty of her art can raise people’s awareness to care more about nature.
Anastassia believes that we are all connected and that all living creatures are magical in their own way. Being a yoga teacher and student of shamanic practices, she believes in yogic philosophy, the power of the Universe and its magic.
Today her artwork is inspired by the magnificent beauty of nature, plants, animals and humanity. She loves strong colours and contrast between bright and dark tones. She is also very attracted to the textures and likes to use texture paste on her canvas. She uses mixed media for base layers, because it gives her opportunities to play, create texture and different marks. And she always finish her artworks with layers of oil paints because it brings painting depth and juiciness.
Her style can be described as abstract-realism.

Now Anastassia spends most of her time in her art studio developing her artwork on deeper levels.
She lives in Tallinn, capital of Estonia with her husband and rescue dog. Anastassia creates art, teaches yoga, enjoys climbing, van life and travels the world seeking for more inspiration & new experiences.
She dreams of a more peaceful and conscious life for all of us on Earth. She knows from her experience that dreams always come true.

Anastassia donates paintings to non-profit organizations standing for the rights of animals. Also she gives 5% of her original artwork sales to animal shelters.
